Is the data usage unlimited?

Data usage limit varies from country to country. Please refer to the list below:

Countries with Unlimited Data

Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Fiji, United States, Canada, Mexico, France, Monaco, United Kingdom, China, Macau & South Korea


Countries with Limited Data

Thailand, Philippines, India, Ukraine & Russia To ensure fairness for all users, a Fair Use Policy will be applied when a user has exceeded 500MB or 1GB (depending on country and applicable package) within 24 hours. The connection speed may be throttled to 1Mbps or 2Mbps for uploads and downloads after the limit has been reached. The connection speed will be reverted to normal on the following day.

No, RoamOnz will not work on an airplane.

RoamOnz will only work on land where a cellular reception is available. The WiFi Hotspot may work if the cruise ship is near to land, but we advise using the device on land.

Yes, customers will be able to enjoy 4G high speed internet speeds up to 150Mbps for downloads and up to 50Mbps upload speeds, depending on location. When unavailable, customers will receive 3G internet speeds instead. You may also encounter areas in airports, mountains, highways, ports, basements and islands where no connection is available. 

You can check your daily data usage on the device screen. It will display your total data usage for the day. You can also refer to your RoamOnz manual for more information. 

Simply switch your RoamOnz WiFi Hotspot, and connect to the WiFi with your smartphone or laptop. Enter the password located on the screen of your RoamOnz WiFi Hotspot. 

You can connect up to 5 devices to RoamOnz. Any smartphones, laptops and tablets that are WiFi enabled are able to use RoamOnz. 

Yes! RoamOnz tap on existing cellular networks to provide customers up to 150Mbps downloads and up to 50Mbps upload speeds. For countries with no 4G support, customers may receive 3G internet speeds. Please note that some places may have weaker cellular connectivity such as airports, mountains, highways, ports, basements and islands. Please restart your RoamOnz device after moving to a location with better access.

Your plan starts when you decide for it to start!

All our plans follow the MYT (Malaysian Time – GMT+8).
E.g. If you're travelling to USA and the date you land at USA is 1st Oct, kindly select the activation start date as 2nd Oct (Malaysia Time). The customer may collect the device 1 day earlier & return the device within 2 days after the usage end date.

Yes, of course. Cancellations will be subjected to a termination fee of RM50 per Unit. Any remaining balances will be refunded to customers within 7 working days.

We accept payments via Credit Cards and online banking.

No. Your plan activates according to the dates set by you when you place your order!

Please note that date of activation will follow MYT (Malaysia Time, which is GMT+8)

Yes. Minimum rental period is 3 days.

If you’re travelling to multiple destinations, select different Wi-Fi packages according to your requirements. Your device will be activated for every country on our coverage list. RoamOnz has a reach of over 130 countries.

You can rent a RoamOnz WiFi hotspot via our website.

On the website, select your travel destination, and simply follow through to buy.

Return

I would like to get an invoice for business claims purposes?

Customers will receive an official receipt from us. If you require an invoice instead, please email a request to cs.roamonz@gmail.com

RoamOnz will send you an email confirmation once the device is received.

Customers are responsible for the safe and timely return of WiFi devices. Failure to return the device will result in the forfeiture of your device deposit. RoamOnz is not responsible for devices lost in the mail. Please refer to terms and conditions listed on the contract for more details.

Our return counters are available at major airports in Malaysia. You can choose to return it at the same counter when you picked up the device.

You will be billed immediately upon confirmation of your order.

Your deposit will be returned via bank transfer within 7 working days once RoamOnz receives the device.
